Step-by-Step Tutorials

• George Mitrevski's forms tutorial (Knowledge Design) , and his form-mail tutorial as well - designed to give instructors the background they need for using the Web for teaching.
• Joe Burn's HTML Goodies "So You Want a Form, Huh?" tutorial
•  Forms tutorial for WebCom users  and/or  Prodigy Forms tutorial - intended for users who will have webpages on WebCom and Prodigy, so ignore any info about forms processors (you won't have access to them), but the forms tutorials are very good.
• Carlos' Form Tutorial (assumes knowledge of HTML coding)


These last three do not use ENCTYPE="text/plain" as part of the <Form> construct, if you are concerned about getting results mailed to you in readable format.

HTML editors, including word processors

• Word and WordPerfect both include forms support in their HTML editing modes, as do most HTML editors such as DreamWeaver.  But if you are going to be getting back data from users via email, you still have to know about the "mailto:" code and how to set that up using a "hidden" field.
