Candidates who receive more than one Incomplete will be dropped from the program. One grade of BC or C is allowable if it is balanced by a grade of AB or A. A second grade of BC or C or any grade of D or F will normally result in the student being dropped from the program.

Candidates must complete a minimum of a 40-hour practicum. Candidates should complete the degree within four semesters and one summer session; the maximum period (under special circumstances) is seven calendar years. Contact the department for more information.

Completion of the degree should be within a three- to four-year period beyond earning the master's degree. At least two semesters must be full time (8 credits). Demonstration of statistical skills and one additional research skill.
