Lecturer in Hebrew The Hebrew Language Program in the Middle East Institute at Georgia State University invites applications for an anticipated Lecturer in Hebrew position, to begin in the Fall 2008 semester. The successful applicant will teach courses in Biblical and Modern Hebrew at both the beginning and intermediate level and possible additional courses in their area of specialization. The Judaic Studies Department of the University at Albany, State University of New York, seeks a full-time Lecturer in modern Hebrew language for a non-tenure track appointment, initially for one-year to begin September 2008 with the possibility of renewal. In a program that takes students from elementary language to advanced literature, the teaching responsibilities of this new position include three classes per semester in elementary and intermediate Hebrew. Compensation includes a competitive salary and full benefits. Applicants must have an M.A. or equivalent in hand by September 1, 2008. MIDDLEBURY COLLEGE, MIDDLEBURY, VT seeks an Assistant Professor or Instructor (ABD), for a three-year term position in Modern Hebrew Language and Culture, beginning September 2008.
