Multilingualism in the Middle Ages:
Texts of Liturgical Plays; Bilingual Motets (Latin/French esp); Macaronic texts of 15th-century Carols (Latin/English); Music as a 'Language' - especially 'unheard' / remembered texts associated with musical incipits and quotations.

History of the Medieval Book:
Glosses in Liturgical Books and Musical MSS; Allegorical Romans which contain contrafacta of Sacred Motets/ Chants and vice versa.
