Publications include a book on Ragnars saga lothbrókar and its Major Scandinavian Analogues, and numerous articles and reviews on the above subjects.

Current projects include a socio-political history of the Icelandic language, and a study of Chaucer in relation to old Icelandic and early Irish tradition.
