Welcome to the page of

Stephany Gould

I'm a dissertator in the Department of Slavic Languages and Literature here at UW-Madison. My dissertation, tentatively entitled "Opera and the Literary Narrator: dve veshchi nesovmestnye?" will be done this year. When I am Dr. Gould, I want to teach Russian literature, language and culture or direct a language lab.

Here are some excerpts from my Curriculum Vitae

Here is a picture of me in my natural habitat.

Another favorite subject of mine is the use of technology in teaching Russian. I like to experiment with the use of audio, video, WWW links, or e-texts to support and expand upon information given in paper texts. That's what I've learned about at the Learning Support Services here at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

See Lauren Rosen's Language Links for handy tips and locations.
