Study Abroad in China
Students may receive residence credit for study abroad through two programs
sponsored by the department: the Academic Year Abroad program at Beijing Normal
University; the Academic Year Abroad program at Peking University. Please contact
the Office of International Studies
and Programs for details.
In addition, the UW-Madison is a member institution of the Inter-University Board for Chinese Language Studies, which administers the famous Inter-University Program (Stanford Center) in Taipei and is establishing a new program at Tsinghua University in Beijing.
Study Abroad in Japan
Students may receive resident credit for study abroad through four programs
sponsored by the department: the Junior Year Abroad program at Nanzan Univ.
in Nagoya; the Junior Year Abroad program at Hokkaido University in Sapporo;
the Junior Year Abroad program at Sophia Univ. in Tokyo; the Junior Year Abroad
program at Keio Univ. in Tokyo. Please contact the Office of International
Studies and Programs for details.

program (Stanford) in Japan.
