Luisa Valenzuela, Argentine novelist and short story writer will be on our campus. There are several events organized around her visit.

Cultural Translation Workshop
(conducted by Ksenija Bilbija and Tomislav Longinovic)
Graduate students and faculty from different disciplines will discuss
translations of Valenzuela's story "Other Weapons"; the workshop will end
with Class-Act performance of two different endings of the story;

for the Midamerica Conference on Hispanic Literature
