As everyone who
attended the first round knows, it was a good time with good tunes.
Now things promise to get viscious as Motown (coached by Craig
Werner with aid from Alexander Shashko) seeks to protect its 9-7
lead over Memphis (coached by Charles Hughes with assists from
various shadowy characters).
The format for the second round will be the same as for the first round, with two songs from each act (lower seed goes first). Winner will be determined by a vote of the audience, which will, as usual, do whatever it damn well pleases for reasons that will remain eternally obscure. In subsequent rounds, each act will be represented by three songs.
